Troy had a really nice camera while we were in Maine, I stole a few from him and had to share. The clouds in Maine are the best and so is the sunrise. I think it was about 40 degrees while we watched the sun come up that morning, I was still freezing with that blanket wrapped around me. Is it time to go back yet? Crazy I'll have a 6 month old with me next year!

Child Care for Baby Dorsey

I'm in the early stages of looking for someone to watch my baby boy. I hate to even think about the day I have to leave him to head to work, but it's inevitable....So I'm putting the word out now. I'm looking for someone that does it out of their home and of course has all the credentials needed. I'd prefer the Bowie/Crofton area. If you recommend anyone please let me know! Referrals are the best!!

Baby Bump! (and Lena Love)

This picture makes me laugh, I had to share. We're never short of a Lena kiss!

They say dogs know when you're pregnant, I believe it. Lately, Lena will not leave my side. She has to be as close to me as possible. Her new favorite spot is to balance on my chest/stomach area and just sit there, very uncomfortable for me!

It's not my favorite picture of myself, but its a recent shot of my belly! 18 weeks now, 17 weeks in this picture. I'll try and get a closer shot soon. (Lena is somehow always trotting around in the background of a picture)

The baby is dancing!

I felt the baby move for the first time last week and now I can feel something every day. It's not much, it's a slight feeling, but it's different from anything I've felt before so I know it's my little guy. He seems to move around a lot after I eat, I guess he gets all his energy then. I didn't think I could feel it from the outside yet, but I rested my hand on my stomach last night and I could feel it, very small, but it was there. I called Bryan into the room and right on time Baby Dorsey gave a kick (or something) and Bryan felt it for the first time! Very exciting. I hope he's comfy in there. :-) He's getting his soccer feet ready!

"Mainiac"

This is a very large Maine post, but when you take 0ver 100 pictures, why not? Katie and Troy flew to Maine late Wed night and spent a long weekend with us. I tried to show them as much as possible in the short time they had. We walked the Marginal way, had dinner in Kennebunkport, drove by the Bush vacation home on Walker Point, drove up to Cape Elizabeth and ate at Two lights, ate Lobster, rode bikes to Ocean Park and had our annual breakfast/bike ride. We also beached it everyday, and kayaked the Saco river on Sat. Woke up for the sunrise bright and early the day we left and watched the sunset color the sky pink on our last night. We also stopped to see the life size chocolate Moose at Len Libby! They even met and hung out with the Beacon Ave crew and and experienced a 40 degree night. It's always SO hard to leave knowing I won't come back for another year, but it is nice to come home to your little dog who missed you just as much. :-)

Baby Chase and Maine

So I'm Maine, my favorite place in the world, and we finally have our new Mac and some free time to start this blog. Here are some pictures of my brand new nephew Chase Nicholas Kagle, born on July 11th. He's a super cutie. I'm missing Kerry & Linsay in Maine this year, but they understandably have their hands full right now. Here are a few snap shots of Maine too. Beautiful weather so far! More to come...
